Parenting can be full of worry. You worry your kids aren’t prepared for their future. Aren’t making enough friends. You worry they aren’t kind enough or empathetic.

What parents need is a community around them. Parents need people who love their kids and will help reinforce the principles you value. Parents need camp as a partner in bringing up their kids. At camp kids make new friends, maybe even life-long friends. Kids also learn how to care well for others, how to encourage each other as they try new things, tackle new adventures. Camp also provides a whole support structure of caring adults who may be the one voice kids will listen to. Plus, camp gets kids outside in nature where the world looks a little brighter and problems seem to dim.
